Food service could be better, in spite of this. Excellent clean restrooms, and we plan our trips through here with this as a regular stop. It is almost always busy, but lines short. Ladies.... If you need a "powder room" this place has extra stalls and my wife says very good things about the extras you won't find elsewhere.
This place is very easy to get in and out of. The people here have always been very friendly and helpful, it is always clean. The restrooms are large they even have 2 for the ladies!! The men's has a TV with the weather channel on. But, now for the best part. The restaurant here " Apple Barrel " is fantastic. I am a truck driver and I have to eat out a lot so I know good and I know bad. This place is great. If I am coming thru this area I always stop to eat here. I hope you enjoy the food here as much as I do. Safe travels to you and yours...!!
Has a Caribou Coffee and Apple Barrel restaurant inside, plus services and a gift shop. Even offers Sunday chapel services upstairs. A full time trucker may want even more selection, but I found it compact enough to navigate while offering a variety of options, and friendly. Prices are reasonable.
Super nice travel stop! They have a caribou coffee stand in here and a country fried-style restaurant. The coffee I got was great. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but several people were eating and it smelled good. Otherwise, I have to tell you about the bathrooms! This place definitely cares about your hiney. They have heated toilet seats and a bidet. They are also super clean. There's a button there to make sure it stays clean too. The store inside had everything from snacks to camping supplies to tools to fix an unexpected car/truck problem. This was a great stop off i29!
Stopped for gas and coffee. The gas was fine but the coffee was the worst I've had. It must have been sitting overnight because it was sludge. No amount of sugar or cream could resurrect that. Probably could have used it to lube my car though!
